Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda on Christmas Eve. The assault was reported at the mall at 11:17 AM Wednesday. This was the eleventh assault to take place at the popular retail center this year. That ties the eleven reported at the property in 2024.
When Jesse James was asked “why do you rob banks” he replied “because that’s where the money is”.
ReplyDeleteGo figure! 😉
Great quote, but wrong outlaw. Was actually attributed to bank-robber Willie Sutton (1901-1980).
DeleteWhere exactly are these assaults happening? In the parking lots? Inside the mall? Four years ago Montgomery County Police opened a "Community" room on the upper level near the food court. There is never any visible police presence there. Perhaps it's time to reactivate that space in a more visible way.
