Montgomery County police responded to a report of an aggravated assault at the Rockville Metro station late last night, May 4, 2026. The assault was reported at the station at 11:12 PM Monday. According to police, a suspect pulled a knife on the victim in the bus bay area of the station. Officers were able to identify and arrest the knife-wielding assailant.
That's interesting because yesterday across the street from the Lakeforest transit station the police were making an arrest, it ainvolved many police officers, around 6 or 7 but at the actual Lakeforest bus station a group of people started to argue with each other and one individual pulled out a box cutter and threatened to stabb the person he was arguing with and this was taking place in plain view of the police across the street. This was the same group of shows up everyday at the transit center to drink beer and smoke and play loud music and I've even seen impromptu hair cutting and braiding, right at Lakeforest bus station. People go to the bathroom in the transit cubicles and deal drugs, thanks Montgomery County and Wes Moore.
ReplyDeleteOnce again I'd like to know just what the F you think the Gov. has to do with any crime you see. Should he come screeching down the highway from his office to make an arrest? You readers are an idiotic bunch of brats. My apologies to all real brats.
DeleteIf the buck doesn't stop at the Governors office, where does it stop?
DeleteExcuse me but actually the County Executive and the Governor do communicate. Why do you think both have staff for?
DeleteBoth County Executive and Governor do communicate.
DeleteGood point, you would have to be a little foolish to think that the crime spree overtaking Maryland isn't the Governors responsibility to solve.
DeleteThe County Executive also communicates with the people once a week through his unintelligible weekly address,
DeleteIs that the Democratic Socialist?
Delete@10:16 PM The Governor came to scope out the problem but he went to Bethesda for a scoop of ice cream!
DeleteHe is running for a roaming spare councilmember.
DeleteMarc Elrich and Wil Jawando have ordered the MCPD to stand-down. With unsurprising results county-wide.
ReplyDelete12:31: "Stay in the car." The stand down order heard round the world.
DeleteThe incumbent and his aspiring successor.
DeleteYeah you MAGAs have all the answer in your heads. Odd how not one useful winger has achieved anything of quality in the past ten years. Useless bunch of clowns.
Delete"Useless bunch of clowns" and court jesters
Deletemake up the status quo!
With court jesters in charge who needs clowns!
DeleteI'm disgusted with both Erlich and Jwando. They've been in those seats long enough. We need all new County Council members. Very disappointed in Erlich.
Delete@7:28 PM Sadly, the electorate is tone deaf so we are stuck with these two amateur actors for life.
DeleteThe fastest way to get crime statistics down is by not making arrests……. Also, have you noticed how actual crime numbers have been transformed into statistics rather than a hard count of crimes being committed, modern police “management”.
ReplyDeleteSo, statistics aren't numbers????? wtf?
DeleteWas it Crocodile Dundee?
ReplyDeleteThere was a fist fight between two women on Ride on bus 56 Lakeforest coming from Rockville on May 6 , bus driver stopped bus and police were called, three Gaithersburg police showed up, all passengers disembarked and boarded substitute bus.
ReplyDeleteSeems to be one common denominator in all of these cases.
ReplyDeleteknives?
DeleteStatistics are digits.
