If you ...No it won't be closing the pike store. If you want a look into privatization of liquors. Drive across to PG county where is 250 liquor stores .. not 26. I'll be able to buy my MD 20/20 pint and join the Memorial Day Parade in progress!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1128562743162979576.post-32401253957946570132016-11-23T12:30:41.096-05:002016-11-23T12:30:41.096-05:00I understand the DLC wanted a "state of the a...I understand the DLC wanted a "state of the art" store where they could host tastings, etc and present a higher end feel. No matter, on principle, I will still drive to VA and DC even though I can walk to this store. Washington liquor store without ever consulting with the City of Rockville. This liquor store will make a nice backdrop to Memorial Day Parade photos near year!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1128562743162979576.post-22853346808766258162016-11-23T11:29:48.421-05:002016-11-23T11:29:48.421-05:00While I think, for the most part, you are somewhat...While I think, for the most part, you are somewhat fair in your reporting, I think that your implied claim that DLC "monopoly prices" are some how more expensive is inaccurate. There are SOME liquors, wines and beers that are more expensive but most are only by a few dollars. Certainly not worth my time or gas money to travel to Virginia to save a couple of dollars.

I know you have a valid dislike of the Montgomery County government and its hand in the DLC but I do think that the implied thought that somehow residents are getting cheated is unfair for the readers of your blog. Keep up the good work otherwise!Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03253626446151778469noreply@blogger.com
