MCDONALD'S NEW CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY FRAPPE REVIEW (VIDEO)

McDonald's has a new coffee drink - apparently for Valentine's Day - but it's here now, and I've reviewed it for you. The McDonald's Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frappe starts with a regular, icy Frappé, but adds chocolate candy chunks, fresh strawberry bits, and strawberry syrup and lots of whipped cream on top.

MCDONALD'S SOUTHWEST CHICKEN MCWRAP REVIEW (VIDEO)

McDonald's has introduced a limited-time addition to its line of Premium McWraps: the new Southwest Chicken McWrap.

I picked one up, and here is my review.

This is a relatively-healthier entrée, but still contains 680 calories, 41% of the suggested daily intake of saturated fat, and 1470 milligrams of sodium.

The Southwest Chicken McWrap features grilled or crispy chicken breast with a cilantro-lime glaze, crunchy tortilla strips, fresh spring greens, 2 half slices of tomato, shredded cheddar jack cheese, and a spicy, creamy habanero ranch sauce, all wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla.

MCDONALD'S MIGHTY WINGS REVIEW (VIDEO) SEPT. 2013

McDonald's Mighty Wings have begun to arrive in Montgomery County, just in time for football season. Watch my review to see how they rate.

These chicken wings have a crispy coating, and a Cayenne pepper zing. Sauces are just the usual McNuggets choices; I recommend Ranch and Spicy Buffalo.

3 wings will set you back $3.19, minus the additional tax.

The wings are scheduled to roll out at all McDonald's locations over the coming days.

MCDONALD'S QUARTER POUNDER BLT REVIEW (VIDEO)

McDonald's has a new, limited-time only Quarter Pounder - the Quarter Pounder BLT. It is essentially a Deluxe Quarter Pounder (with red onions, premium whole-leaf lettuce, crinkle-cut pickles, mayonnaise, cheese, and mustard) with slices of thick-cut bacon added. Watch my review to find out how it rates.

MCDONALD'S HABANERO RANCH QUARTER POUNDER REVIEW (VIDEO)

McDonald's 3 new Quarter Pounders are now on sale, and will expand all over America in the coming weeks. They replace the Angus Burger, which was a 1/3 pound hamburger.

I got a Habanero Ranch Quarter Pounder, and posted my review of it. It has Habanero Ranch sauce, whole-leaf lettuce, tomato slice, bacon and white cheddar cheese.

The other 2 new Quarter Pounders are downsized versions of the 1/3-pound Angus Burgers they replace, Bacon & Cheese, and Deluxe. Habanero is the only new sandwich concept.

Fans of the classic Quarter Pounder, fear not: it's still on the menu.

MCDONALD'S DULCE DE LECHE SHAKE REVIEW (VIDEO)

A limited-time, Latin-flavored milkshake is arriving at local McDonald's restaurants.

Last night, I tested it out. Here's my review.

I got a small size for $2.19. It has vanilla ice cream, Dulce de Leche caramel sauce, whipped cream and a cherry on top.

The milkshake will be available through the end of summer, and roll out nationwide by June 10.

MCDONALD'S BLUEBERRY AND POMEGRANATE SMOOTHIE REVIEW (VIDEO)

A new smoothie has arrived at  McDonald's. Now I've posted my review.

The Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie is pretty much what it sounds like: blueberries and pomegranate pureed and crushed with ice in a blender. It is a healthier alternative to soda and milkshakes, so you could probably make a meal with this and a grilled chicken salad.

McDonald's McWrap REVIEW (VIDEO)

Montgomery County is one of the first places in America to get the product launch of McDonald's new McWrap menu item.  Click here for an in-depth review of the McDonald's McWrap!

The McWrap comes with your choice of grilled or crispy chicken. There are 3 variations: Chicken and Bacon, Sweet Chili Chicken, and Chicken and Ranch.

Sweet Chili sounded the most unique, so I decided to get that first.

Watch my review for all the details, and my final verdict. You'll also find out about the McWrap packaging, which is not only different, but highly functional.

COULD MCDONALD'S MIGHTY WINGS COME TO ROCKVILLE?

Word that testing of McDonald's chicken wings - known as "Mighty Wings" has expanded to Chicago naturally is generating speculation about a nationwide rollout.

Of course, so did McPizza.

But these wings aren't so new. A previous test years ago included some DC area McDonald's. I had some myself. My vague memory is that they came in a white cardboard container, and were called Mighty Wings then, too.  And that they were fairly good wings.

If you can add to that recollection, please leave a comment below with your memories.

I don't recall the sauces available. But word that McDonald's won't have special sauces, and use the current ones instead, is cause for concern. As big a fan of McDonald's nugget sauces as I am, when it comes to wings, Blue Cheese is an absolute must!
