Car stolen from Rockville townhome community

Montgomery County police were called to investigate a report of a stolen car in the Woodmont Overlook townhome community in Rockville Thursday morning, October 3, 2022. The vehicle stolen was parked in the 1400 block of Templeton Place, and the theft was reported at 9:25 AM Thursday. Property was also reported stolen from another vehicle on the same block.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a stolen car in Derwood Sunday morning, October 30, 2022. The vehicle was reported stolen in the 7700 block of Goodfellow Way at 4:15 AM.

Rockville City police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at a parking lot early this past Thursday morning, October 27, 2022. The vehicle was reported stolen from a commercial parking lot in the 300 block of Hungerford Drive at 3:50 AM.

Car stolen outside Rockville apartment building

Montgomery County police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the parking lot of an apartment building in Rockville yesterday, September 28, 2022. The vehicle was taken from a residential parking lot in the 1300 block of Piccard Drive. That appears to be the Flats at Shady Grove apartment building. It is believed the vehicle was stolen sometime between 7:00 PM Tuesday night and 5:30 AM Wednesday morning.

Rockville City police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the parking lot of Richard Montgomery High School, located at 250 Richard Montgomery Drive, late Thursday afternoon, September 22, 2022. The vehicle was reported stolen at 5:00 PM Thursday.

The vehicle was taken from the rear driveway of a townhome in the 100 block of Elmcroft Square. It is believed that the vehicle was stolen between 8:30 PM Tuesday night, and 7:15 AM Wednesday morning.

Montgomery County police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a home in the Manor Woods neighborhood of Rockville. The vehicle was taken from the driveway of a home in the 14700 block of Janice Drive, near Norbeck Road. It is believed the vehicle was taken sometime between 11:00 PM Tuesday and 6:15 AM yesterday.

Montgomery County police are investigating the theft of a vehicle in the Twinbrook area of Rockville. The vehicle was parked along the street in the 13100 block of Ardennes Avenue, near Twinbrook Elementary School. It is believed that the vehicle was stolen sometime between 10:00 PM Sunday night, and 5:30 AM Monday morning.

The vehicle was reported stolen from a lot in the 12200 block of Rockville Pike at 8:45 AM Saturday. Items were also reported stolen from at least one other vehicle in the same parking lot.

Thieves return to Rockville street, take car this time

A day after items including a credit card were stolen out of a parked car on a residential street in the Lynfield neighborhood of Rockville, one or more thieves struck the same block again, this time simply taking a whole car. The vehicle was parked in the 600 block of W. Lynfield Drive. It was reported stolen at 7:43 AM yesterday, August 17, 2022. Rockville City police are investigating.

The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot in the 10100 block of Reprise Drive, and was reported stolen at 12:00 PM Monday. That is a development right on the border with Gaithersburg, just south of Downtown Crown.

The vehicle was parked on the street outside a townhome in the 500 block of Shorthorn Way, the newest section of King Farm recently constructed off of Piccard Drive. It is believed that the vehicle was stolen sometime between 8:30 PM Wednesday night and 9:00 AM Thursday morning.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a stolen car at a Rockville townhome community yesterday morning. The vehicle was reported stolen from a residential parking lot in the 14900 block of Forest Landing Circle, off Muddy Branch Road. It is believed the vehicle was stolen sometime between 10:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM on Friday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from a commercial parking lot in Rockville yesterday evening. Rockville City police were called to a parking lot in the 400 block of Hungerford Drive to investigate. That is a commercial area just north of Rockville Town Square.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the Fallsgrove area of Rockville yesterday morning. The vehicle was parked outside of a townhome in the 300 block of Casey Lane. It is believed the car was stolen sometime between 10:00 PM Monday night, and 6:05 AM Tuesday morning.

Rockville car dealership targeted by car thieves for the 2nd time in a week

Car thieves appear to be targeting auto dealerships in Rockville over the past week. Last Thursday, a vehicle was stolen from a used car dealership on Carroll Avenue. Monday afternoon, a car was reported stolen from another dealership in the 15600 block of Frederick Road at 4:00 PM. Rockville City police responded to the scene to investigate the theft.

Montgomery County police responded to a dealership in the 12300 block of Carroll Avenue at 7:44 PM, in an industrial area near Twinbrook Parkway and Parklawn Drive. Auto Wholesalers of Rockville is located on that block of Carroll.
