  1. Stop and frisk is the only way to get the illegal guns off the street and have safe neighborhoods. It's not about racial profiling, it's about safe neighborhoods. I don't mind being stopped by the police at all if it helps with safety, as a matter of fact,I have been stopped by police while walking down the sidewalk,I didn't argue with the officer or cuss him or fight,I talked with him and offered for him to look in my backpack and there was no problem I was on my way in way in 10 minutes.

    1. What other civil liberties are you willing to sacrifice? Are you will to be detained or your property seized (civil asset forfeiture) if the government believes you maybe involved in illegal activities?

    2. Your denial of the profiling aspect is pathetic and shows your ignorance of the use of this technique for ulterior purposes.

    3. What happens when you put stop and frisk into effect is a couple of things, one is that when criminals realize cops will stop them, the criminals start to leave the illegal firearms at home, then you have less killing. The other thing that happens is the ones who take the guns out on the street illegally have their guns taken and they are arrested after being checked for warrants. We had stop and frisk all through the 1990s and it worked beautifully. You sound a little paranoid,no one came for your property in the 1990s. Stop and Frisk is just common sense.

  2. The location of this incident speaks volumes. There is a relatively new gun shop in this vicinity, and I would bet the moron with the weapon had just purchased it or ammunition for the gun, then decided to test it. Interesting how a vague description of the perp is presented, but no other information as to who, what, or where is available.
