Rockville City police responded to a report of theft in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on August 18, 2026. The theft was reported in the 200 block of Frederick Avenue. According to police, two lion statues were stolen from a home sometime prior to July 29. The statues stood by the driveway of the residence. If you have any information about the whereabouts of these statues, contact police at 240-314-8900.

DeleteWell it took around three months, but Burlington Coat factory store in Gaithersburg finally boarded up the broken out windows in the old loading dock area that people were using to go into the the abandoned part of the store and stay.i can't understand why it took three months, but at least it's done.

DeleteLion statues, are traditional symbols of protection, prosperity, and good fortune (ironically, this does not apply to anything that happens in Lincoln Park). They always stand in pairs outside entrances to guard the building. Now the owners have put up SimpliSafe devices.
