ICE arrests illegal immigrant it says was convicted of assault in Rockville


The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency says a Salvadoran national illegally in the U.S. has been arrested by its Baltimore field office in Maryland. ICE states that Jose Menendez, 46, was convicted of 2nd-degree assault here in Rockville. The agency says Menendez will remain in custody pending deportation proceedings. According to the ICE Online Detainee Locator System, he is currently being held at the Farmville ICE detention center in Farmville, Virginia.

  1. A search of the Maryland Judiciary Case system shows no case related to any Menendez involving an assault, let alone in Rockville. Where is the proof?
