Rockville City police responded to a report of an assault at a hotel on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The assault was reported at the Red Roof Inn at 16001 Shady Grove Road at 2:56 PM Saturday. A 37-year-old man was arrested. He has been charged with three counts of 2nd-degree assault, obstructing and hindering a police officer, and resisting arrest. The suspect is being held without bond at the Montgomery County jail, pending an October trial.
Seems like there is always something bad happening at this hotel, I think there are some illegal things going on there.

DeleteSince you all are sitting here making comments about there might be suspicious things going on at the hotels maybe if I govern her and everybody else that sits here and live in Montgomery county that maybe if they help a little bit more with low income families in homeless p families and people stop avoiding the facts and stop trying to lock everybody up for addiction and try to get them some help just maybe maybe we can have a better community but locking everybody up would people that have mental disorders and nobody is really helping all they're doing is doing medication that these people instead of dressing the root of the problem maybe we wouldn't have these problems at the hotels and maybe we wouldn't have to have so many police presence at the hotels or wherever else maybe if you guys stand up and help instead of bitching and complaining online stop turning your head to what's really going on out here in Maryland maybe we can stop some of the crime that's going on here in Montgomery county from Germantown all the way to Rockville that's my comment and I stick to it
