A road rage incident in Rockville ended with one driver being shot with a BB gun on December 17, 2025. The incident took place in the 700 block of busy Rockville Pike at 11:14 AM. Rockville City police say that the shooter "became upset while driving," and proceeded to fire multiple BB pellets at another vehicle, shattering its driver's side window and striking the victim in the chest. The shooter then fled the scene. Police report that they have determined the identity of the alleged shooter.

ReplyDeleteRockville pike has numerous traffic cameras. However county executive Marc Elrich cut the budget of the traffic management center by 1 million dollars then put on a hiring freeze. More than half of the cameras are inoperable as a result and can not be repaired as the techs who repair them were fired. The MOCO TMC operates on a skeleton staff. When a crash occurs on 270 most of the cameras are facing away from the incident. Traffic reporting agencies are not alerted and can not relay proper info to citizens of the county. I have been a traffic reporter on air for 40 years in the Washington area on tv & radio we depended on TMC to provide this info and the cameras but due to the inept county council we have been unable to do so. Time to replace Evan Glass , Marc Elrich and the rest of these morons running Montgomery county’s complacent leadership!

DeleteCommunism shouldn't be forced on me in the County I grew up in.its being ushered in through many illegal avenues such as,illegal immigration, voter fraud from Illegal immigrants voting, one party rule for decades,Ect.the whole system is rotten to the core, ir needs to be fixed.its not as simple as just moving to a Republican state.
