Ski-masked gang chase and assault victim in Rockville

A gang of four male suspects wearing ski masks attacked an individual in the Twinbrook area of Rockville on Monday, December 8, 2025. The victim was in the 1100 block of Lewis Avenue that afternoon, when they were pursued and physically assaulted by the four suspects between 3:40 PM and 4:15 PM. Following the attack, the four masked males jumped into a silver Honda Civic of unspecified model year, and fled the scene.

Store rage escalates to road rage in Rockville

A vehicular altercation in a Rockville parking lot began before either individual got behind the wheel on November 29, 2025. Rockville City police report that the male suspect and female victim were inside a store in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike at 6:10 PM that evening. They became embroiled in an argument, and the male suspect followed the victim into the parking lot outside the store. He allegedly ripped the passenger side mirror off of a vehicle, and threw it at the victim's car before fleeing the scene. Police have not yet shared a description of the suspect or his vehicle.

2 assaults in 2 days at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda

Montgomery County police responded to two reports of assaults last week at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. A 2nd-degree assault was reported at the retail center on November 25, 2025,  at 5:26 PM. Just over 24 hours later, an aggravated assault was reported at the property. That assault was related to a shoplifting incident. These were the eighth and ninth assaults reported at the mall this year. At this pace, Montgomery Mall is likely to have fewer assaults this year than last, when eleven were reported. 

Montgomery County police had a more visible presence at the mall this past weekend. Officers were wearing the new back patches that identify they are with the County police. These were demanded by the Montgomery County Council to distinguish them from ICE officere working in the County.

Rockville assault victim fights back with rake, is shot with airsoft gun

Never bring a rake to a BB gun fight. Rockville City police responded to a report of an assault in the 700 block of Fordham Street on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2:45 PM. The male victim was assaulted by two suspects, and attempted to fight back with a rake. His assailants then produced weapons, and shot him with an airsoft gun. Strong-arm robbery at apartment complex in Rockville

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery at an apartment complex in Rockville early last night, November 20, 2025. The robbery and assault were reported in the parking lot of a complex at 5500 Besley Court at 6:28 PM Thursday. That is at the Halpine View apartments. Unspecified property damage was also reported in the same incident.

Rockville City police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery Saturday afternoon, November 15, 2025. The robbery and assault were reported in the 700 block of Hungerford Drive at 4:19 PM Saturday. That's a commercial stretch of MD 355 just north of the Rockville Town Center area.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at a convenience store in Rockville Wednesday night, November 5, 2025. The assault was reported at a store in the 5400 block of Randolph Road at 7:10 PM. There is a 7-Eleven store on that block. 7:10 at 7/11!

Assault at auto dealership in Rockville

Rockville City police responded to a report of an aggravated assault at an auto dealership yesterday, November 4, 2025. The assault was reported at a dealership in the 800 block of Rockville Pike at 11:30 AM Tuesday. Ourisman Mazda and Chevrolet are located on that block. An individual was also accused of property damage in the same incident.

Assault at apartment complex in Rockville

More trouble in the parking lot of a Rockville apartment complex where an armed robbery took place last month. Montgomery County police were again called to the Village Square West apartments at 12401 Village Square Terrace on Halloween night. A 2nd-degree assault took place there at 8:22 PM that evening.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery in Rockville yesterday afternoon, October 28, 2025. The robbery and assault were reported in the 1000 block of Rockville Pike at 4:30 PM Tuesday. It took place in a residential parking lot.

Rockville City police were called to an industrial park last Friday night, October 24, 2025, to investigate an assault that was reported there. The assault was reported in the unit block of Southlawn Court at 10:30 PM Friday. It took place outside in a parking lot.

Assault at school in Rockville

Rockville City police were called to a school last Friday, October 24, 2025, after an assault was reported there. The incident was reported at a school in the 1000 block of 1st Street at 12:00 PM Friday. Maryvale Elementary School is located at 1010 First Street.

Woman attacked at bus stop in Rockville

Montgomery County police have arrested a man they claim physically assaulted and attempted to rape a woman waiting at a bus stop in Rockville. The victim was walking toward a bus stop on the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital campus in the 9800 block of Medical Center Drive yesterday at 5:26 AM, police say, when the suspect assaulted her. When police arrived, they located the suspect aboard a bus attempting to leave the area. Jerrell Lee Fullwood, 25, of Silver Spring was taken into custody. He has been charged with attempted first-degree rape and first-degree assault. 

Fullwood is being held pending a bond hearing. Detectives who reviewed surveillance video claim Fullwood was seen following the woman prior to the attack.

Assault at bus stop in Rockville

Rockville City police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at a bus stop on Friday afternoon, October 3, 2025. The assault was reported in the unit block of Mannakee Street at 4:00 PM Friday. That is in the West End Park area near W. Montgomery Avenue. The bus stop in question was probably on W. Montgomery, as I do not believe there is a bus stop on that block of Mannakee.

Police officer assaulted in Rockville

A Rockville City police officer was assaulted while responding to a shoplifting call on September 17, 2025. The officer was dispatched to an appliance/electronics store in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike sometime after 5:00 PM. At the store, the officer was allegedly assaulted at 5:24 PM by an unknown male subject who apparently was able to flee the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a Black male, 6’2” in height, with a black goatee. He was wearing gray pants, a gray hoodie, black New Balance sneakers, and a Philadelphia Phillies baseball cap. Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at a bus stop in Rockville Friday morning, September 19, 2025. The assault was reported at a bus stop in the 12100 block of Rockville Pike at 8:45 AM Friday. That is in the vicinity of the Montrose Crossing shopping center.

Assault at apartment complex in Rockville

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault in the Twinbrook area of Rockville on September 5, 2025. The assault was reported in the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway at 4:14 PM last Friday. It took place in the parking lot of a garden apartment complex on that block. 

Parking lot dustup leads to assault in Rockville

Rockville City police were dispatched to a parking lot on August 24, 2025, after an assault was reported there. The assault was reported in a commercial parking in the 800 block of Rockville Pike at 4:45 PM. According to police, a worker cleaning the parking lot blew debris onto a person, and that person became angry and assaulted the worker. Police did not indicate whether the worker's action was intentional or accidental.

5 robbers gang up on victim in Rockville

Five would-be robbers ganged up on a man in Rockville on August 20, 2025, Montgomery County police report. The man was confronted by five men in the 12400 block of Parklawn Drive at 10:11 PM. They allegedly assaulted him, and attempted to steal his money, but were unsuccessful. Police did not say how the victim managed to outwit and out-muscle his five opponents.
