Rockville construction update: Metropolitan at Rockville Town Center apartments (Photos)

Kettler's Rockville Town Center Phase II development, the Metropolitan at Rockville Town Center, is starting to look more like a residential building now that the real exterior facades are visible instead of the white Tyvek. There's still plenty of Tyvek on the building, especially on the Beall Avenue side.
275 apartments will range from one-bedroom lofts to three bedrooms on the former site of the historic Suburban Trust Building. Amenities will include a fitness center, a yoga room, a pet grooming station, bike storage, two courtyards with outdoor grills, a swimming pool, and a two-story entertainment lounge and terrace. The building is located at 255 N. Washington Street.

  1. For clarafication, this is a combined site of the Suburban Trust Bank building and a former company owned Giant Food store.

  3. A real let down from Town Center phase 1. Unimaginably boring design.

  4. Looks like this project is several times bigger than that one you're touting in Fredericksburg.

    1. They have mostly been clearing and grading the site so far. No structures yet.

    3. 1:32: Pretty sure it should be around the same time, because both businesses already have Coming Soon signs up on the fence around the site.
