Former Rockville City Councilman James Marrinan missing


UPDATE - 4:13 PM: Rockville City police report that Marrinan has been found "safe and unharmed."

A Silver Alert has been issued for James Thomas Marrinan of Rockville, who has been missing for two days, and was last seen here in Rockville. Marrinan, 84, served on the Rockville City Council from 1991 to 1999, and remained very active in city politics and community service for two decades afterward. He also served as a campaign manager for former Rockville Mayor Doug Duncan.

In a new development within the last hour, the Pennsylvania State Police Department has tweeted that they are also looking for Marrinan in the midstate area of Pennsylvania. They have not yet disclosed what information that possibility was based on, so residents in Rockville, Montgomery County and the Washington, D.C. region should continue to be on the lookout for Marrinan and his vehicle here. 

Marrinan is a white male, 5’10, with white hair. He is driving a 2008 Honda Accord, black or dark blue, with Maryland tag 9AB8758. Rockville City police ask that you call 911 if you see him.

Derwood man missing

A Derwood man is missing, and Montgomery County police are seeking the public's help in locating him. Recardo Dewayne Dickerson, 46, hasn't been seen since he left his group home on Granby Road around 11:30 AM this past Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Police describe Dickerson as being about 5’07” tall, and weighing 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and facial hair that consists of a beard and mustache. Dickerson was wearing a red jacket, brown pants, and a blue hat when he disappeared.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Recardo Dewayne Dickerson is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).

Derwood man missing

Montgomery County police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing Derwood man. Marvin Darnell Obrien, 33, lives in a group home on Granby Road. He was last seen by caretakers there on September 7, when police say he left the home on foot.

Police describe Obrien as an African American male, approximately 5’9″ to 6’ 1” tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo located on his forehead.

Rockville woman missing

Montgomery County police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing Rockville woman. Natasha “Alex” Mukaka, 18, was last seen leaving her Montrose Road residence on foot Tuesday around 2:00 AM.

Police describe Mukaka as a black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing 110 pounds. She has black hair (currently shaved) and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing black spandex pants, a white t-shirt, and a black shawl.

Police and family are concerned for Mukaka’s emotional and physical welfare. She regularly takes medication but does not have that medication with her. She is unfamiliar with the Washington, D.C. area, detectives say.

Rockville woman missing

Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Rockville woman. Tabet Ndortabi Tarh of First Street, age 33, hasn't been seen by her family since early in the morning on June 28 at her home.was last seen by family members in the early morning hours on June 28 at her residence on First Street in Rockville.  Police describe Tarh as an African-American female, 5′ 3″, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and dark brown, shoulder length hair that she is known to sometimes wear in a bun. 

When last seen, Tarh was wearing a white scarf and a long, dark blue dress. However, detectives have not yet been able to obtain a photograph of her to release to the public. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tabet Ndortabi Tarh is urged to contact police at 301.279.8000.
