  4. It was imminent since that whole area is supposed to become Twinbrook Quarter mixed-use center with Wegman's!

  5. Fuddrucker's was wonderful! It's close to my office, so I was a regular, and it was nice to be greeted by my name. Such good hamburgers, salads, and Strawberry milkshakes. I will also miss the friendly people that worked there!

  7. I remember back in the 80’s. I was getting my bimmer serviced. So I went to get a bite to eat. Micky-dees wasn’t too far, then I saw Fuddrukers. I bought a freshly made burger added all the fresh fix-ins, fries and strawberry shake.
Afterwards, I went back to my office, opened my bag and the guy next to me asked with astonishment, Where did you get that? I said, Fuddruckers. He was blown away, and I was completely satisfied with my lunch. I took my kids there too. I wanted them to have a “real” burger in a clean, friendly, fun, family atmosphere.

It’s sad, but I believe there’s something corporate going on with them. They closed the one in Chinatown and the one in Brandywine, Md too.

It’s really too bad, that other burger place not Micky-Dees, but that others guys shop can get a little greasy, Fuddruckers was just right. It will be missed.

  8. They laid all their employees off without long term notice, I was one of them. They called all of us up for a meeting and broke the news that they were closing down that same day. The managers had all of this planned out for a while but did not tell their employees because they wanted everything to run smoothly. Left a lot of us without a 9 to 5, knowing that most of us have kids and bills to pay. They do not care about their employees whatsoever. Now we are in line to collect unemployment which does not get approved overnight. Meanwhile the managers just get relocated. Wish us luck :(

  11. We used to go to Fuddrucker’s in the 1990s and early 2000s with our children and Grandma for the delicious milkshakes, burgers and fries. We have fond memories of those times!
