Robin Ficker, a Republican candidate for the Maryland U.S. Senate seat of the retiring Ben Cardin (D), is hitting the airwaves for the first time in the 2024 election season, his campaign announced yesterday. Entitled, "Logic," the ad will first air in the Baltimore and Salisbury television markets. The ad will continue to run on TV through Christmas, Ficker campaign manager Dean Cavaretta said in a statement.
"I’ve had a lot of political success at the grassroots level, and now I am looking to turn this into a successful campaign," said Ficker, who was previously elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in the 1970s. "That’s why I am running a serious, professional campaign to represent Maryland in the U.S. Senate."
Ficker, a resident of Montgomery County, is currently the only prominent GOP candidate with statewide name recognition in the race. Retired Brigadier General John Teichert, an Air Force veteran who resides in Anne Arundel County, told Maryland Matters last month that he would be entering the contest. Maryland Matters reports that Cecil County Delegate Kevin Hornberger is also mulling a run for the GOP nomination, but that he is giving himself until December 31 to make his decision.
Ficker is a total slime ball with the professional ethics of a slug. He has been disciplined for for professional misconduct on
ReplyDeleteeight occasions, both in Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He was ultimately disbarred from the practice of law in Maryland for his lengthy disciplinary history of ethical violations. (Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland v. Robin Keith Annesley Ficker, Misc. Docket AG No. 17, September Term, 2020). If this is the type of person you want to represent you in the United States Senate then go ahead and vote for him. You can be sure you will get what you deserve.
Ficker is awesome!๐๐
ReplyDeleteFicker sucks
DeleteFicker would be a great addition as veep to the George Santos for President ticket.
ReplyDeleteYou're just mad because you know that Senator Menendez is going to prison.
DeleteYeah, that must be it. It's not like this was a comment about Ficker's sterling reputation for honesty and fair dealing.
DeleteWell I guess if we are talking about corruption in politics, there are plenty of Democrats who are accused of criminal acts also, not just George Santos.Ficker is still an upstanding gentleman though. I don't see any problem with him.Just crazy Montgomery County which is run by all Democrats.
