5.11 tactical gear store opening in Rockville

5.11, a tactical gear retail store aimed at law enforcement professionals and preppers - but now expanding into the outdoor and fitness retail markets, is opening soon at 12212 Rockville Pike. The store will be located next to Men's Wearhouse.
Parent company 5.11 Tactical began as a pants supplier to the FBI training program in 1992. That evolved into a larger retail line of products marketed to the law enforcement community. 5.11 is now broadening its reach into bricks-and-mortar sales with 11 new stores opening nationwide, including this one in Rockville.
Given that another soft-on-crime Montgomery County Council was just elected, despite surging violent crime, 5.11's motto of "Always be ready" may be a timely and appealing one to County residents.

  1. Yes, that "surging violent crime" that's down year after year after year....

    1. 9:29: I don't know if they sell dunce caps at 5.11, but you might need one. Violent gang crime is up 72% this year. Rape is up 53%. Murders are up 31%.

    2. There have been fewer murders 2018 YTD than in 2017 and 2015.

      No gang-related murders this year.

    3. 7:24: Wrong! Murders are up, and it doesn't matter whether a murder is gang-related or not. Most of the bodies aren't found until months or years later, thanks to the Council's strong support for MS-13.

    1. 10:26: Wrong! And violent crime overall is up - way up. Too bad the local media besides me won't report it.

    2. No it's not. What crimes have the local media not reported this year?

  4. Here is a fun fact, much more interesting than Robert's deeply embarrassing irrelevant comment about the MoCoCo, triggered by the many resentments genesissed by his recent election humiliation:

"The name '5.11' comes from the highest rock climbing difficulty level that was listed in the Yosemite Decimal System at Yosemite National Park, which was developed by [owner Royal] Robbins in the 1950s."

    1. 10:31: Here's a fun fact: You can't be humiliated in a fraudulent election, or when the local media including the Washington Post is colluding with the MoCo political cartel and serving as their PR firm.

Here's another fun fact - I've already identified 9 precincts out of the first 30 reviewed where there appear to be anomalous, suspicious or outright fraudulent voting results.

It is you who are resentful - resentful of someone like me getting things done, while you take potshots from behind a screen in a dark room.

    2. Have you reported any of these "anomalous, suspicious or outright fraudulent" voting results are? Or, are you afraid of the BIG, BAD media?

    3. 2:31: I will as soon as I complete my review of every precinct's results.

  6. One stop shopping for MS-13, because this is America where the murderous illegal criminals need to out gun the police.
