Mass layoffs at Bed Bath & Beyond in Rockville

The fallout of coronavirus continues to crash down around Montgomery County, whose leaders were criticized by Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan Wednesday for not having begun to reopen. Bed Bath & Beyond at 1519 Rockville Pike has announced it will lay off 95 employees. Most of the chain's stores are expected to remain closed at least through May 30, the company has said.

  1. If most of the chain's stores are expected to remain closed, why are you blaming the county?

    1. I didn't see where my comment assigned blame to anyone or group.

  2. I love Bed Bath & Beyond. This place always smells good, always clean, anything you need and you don't need they have in store. Their staff is more than happy to help out. I was looking for a computer lock and one of the ladies in that department helped me look for it. Since we couldn't find it she went online, she found it, order it to be delivered to my house and she didn't charge me the shipping, plus she used my 20% discount coupon. I was so happy.

Bed bath and beyond thank you for having us!
