Antisemitic graffiti found near Pike & Rose

Antisemitic graffiti was found on posters critical of Israel pasted to a utility cabinet at the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Grand Park Avenue near Pike & Rose yesterday, December 9, 2023. Swastikas and genocidal messages about Israel, and a numerical code used by Neo-Nazis, were among the things written onto the posters. A reader forwarded these photos of the posters and graffiti, which appeared just two days after a menorah was toppled outside a synagogue in Olney at the start of the Chanukah holiday.

  1. While Israel is not perfect, we must support Israel at this time of crisis.

    1. No, we certainly do not. But people can't go around saying they should be wiped off the face of the Earth, even if that's what they're trying to do to Gaza.

    2. Gaza attacked Israel.

    3. Gaza has been under siege for more than a decade. Fighting back against that obviously isn't the same as an unprovoked attack. People who are pro-Russia and pro-Israel are the worst.

    4. Gaza has not been under siege by Israel, Israel packed up and completely left Gaza in 2005,unfortunately after Israel left, the people in Gaza voted to elect Hamas to represent them. They voted Hamas into power.Hamas which is considered a terrorist organization by United States and many other countries.

  2. Israel is a terrorist state. There is a genocide going on and you're supporting Israel? I guess I won't be reading this Zionist propaganda blog anymore.

    1. I made no endorsement, but simply reported the graffiti.

  4. It seems to me that the pro-antisemitic anonymous friend prefers to dismiss the historical fact that in 1948 after the United Nations voted to establish the State of Israel, the grand-Mufti of Jerusalem, who undeniably supported Adolf Hitler's final solution, warned followers of Islam to leave while Muslim armies invade the newly established state to complete Hitler's goal. This is an historical fact that I encourage anyone to research . I suspect our friend has something to do with that poster at Pike and Rose.
