Second assault in 48 hours at Rockville Metro station


Rockville City police were called to the Rockville Metro station for the second time in 48 hours yesterday, February 23, 2024, after an individual reported having been assaulted there. The incident was reported at 10:00 AM Friday. The first assault, which involved a firearm, was reported at the station at 8:15 PM Wednesday night.

    2. Rockville is growing too fast...becoming a city, and with a bigger city you usually have more crime. If you want growth, there are unwanted consequences. Need to put the brakes on growth in Rockville, I think.

  4. I am scared to take metro. Almost everyday i see some aggressive people. A couple of days ago three guys were smoking in rush hours

  7. And yet, the area's uber developer COMSTOCK continues to buy property at below market rates with the plans of making this area packed hundreds of nenew apartments with new residential buildings

  8. I think there are different factors coming together and making crime much worse, but America seems to be in a crisis as far as crime goes. It seems like the more freedom people have,the less happy they are.
