Rockville City police were called after a man assaulted a woman in the Rockville Town Center area on November 18, 2024. The victim was walking along a sidewalk past 101 Monroe Street at 4:00 PM that afternoon. A man unknown to the victim approached, and suddenly bumped her off the sidewalk and spat on her. He also made threatening statements toward her, police said.
Police have not released a description of the suspect. If you have any information about the suspect or this incident, call police at 240-314-8900.
Why does the Rockville police 👮🏿 refuse to release descriptions of the suspects??? Where does transparency begin?? I am sure the public would like to know…
ReplyDeleteDo you see descriptions in the MCPD releases? They don't either.
DeleteWow, right in front of the Courthouse. And in the middle of the day. These homeless darlings of the MC Council are getting bold.
ReplyDeleteNowhere does it say the perp was homeless, it's your assumption, and you know what happens when you assume.
DeleteThese apparently random attacks on women, men, seniors are shocking and horrific! This also discourages people from wanting to go outside, get fresh air and walk or run. This horrible behavior of our evil and mentally unstable citizens encourage people stay inside and become obese and depressed. There needs to be more audio and visual surveillance.
ReplyDeleteOne party rules means stupid ideas aren’t challenged and they rise up to take away our liberties
ReplyDeleteI dare you talking like that about the
Delete"defenders of democracy!"
You are so right on that point. That's exactly what will happen come January 20, 2025.
DeleteYeah, in the middle of the day, with lots of police presence, this is why I tell my wife to avoid going out with our child alone now.
ReplyDeleteYou're the first male, purse clutcher I've seen here.
DeleteIt would be good if cops would walk a Beat.Thats what we need.
ReplyDeleteFat chance! This is the age of Drones.
DeleteAnd why isn’t this on camera it’s in front of the courthouse
ReplyDeleteJust how far do you think the camera can reach? Duh!
DeleteThis is a major reason for the failure of Rockville Town Center. No law and order. Predators abound. Normal people and their hard-earned money stay away. It's not rocket science.
ReplyDeleteNo law and order? I thought all the courts are located there!
DeleteThat is correct. All the courts are there. But outside their doors, there is no law and order. Welcome to the perpetually Blue Montgomery County.
ReplyDeleteIAW It is "Fort Apache" in Rockville!
DeleteCounty is in political, economic and cultural death spiral. The huge Marriott layoffs are a frightening economic indicator of what is to come!
ReplyDeleteIncrease taxes and reduce essential services.
