Rockville construction update: Research Row shopping center (Photos)
Research Row is one of the more-difficult development projects to photograph in Rockville, but it's actually got some height to it now. The completed shopping center will include One Life Fitness and Chick-fil-A. Hopefully the fast food drive-through allowed for in the project's approval is for the Chick-fil-A, unlike the walk-in only one in South Rockville. Research Row is located between a biotech building and Best Western on West Montgomery Avenue, and is visible from Interstate 270.

That's pitiful. An unhealthy fast-food restaurant next to a health club.
ReplyDeletegrab a salad perhaps?
DeleteThere are in fact healthy options in there but that’s besides the point. I’m not so sure “pitiful” is the proper word to use. Whether fast food is your cup or tea or not there is a need for fast food and it will do extremely well there. I’m guessing you are not in real estate or land developing. This will also boost the surrounding areas property value- if hold off on your negative, narrow-minded comments and try to see the big picture for the community.
Deletewasn't Sport & Health supposed to be the fitness anchor originally? They had "coming soon" signs up and everything.
ReplyDeleteSport & Health was bought out by the company that owns One Life Fitness. Hence the name change.
