    1. It is amazing that the criminal that did this did NOT express their political affiliation and yet you blame the Democrats! In times of covid and after, people are out of work.Yet there are many jobs to be had.
Many of the people that rob and steal don't have political t shirts on when they rob u. They just want money. To use to buy drugs, or other things they want. Did you know that when it gets cold, they get " regulars" in jail. Those are people who steal and want to go to jail because they need a shelter and food. Every person on here that blames these robberies on politics is uneducated as well as ignorant and has no idea about criminal justice and robberies in Maryland.

    2. Crime is not political nor does it know party affiliations. crime knows ease of targets, and crime increases during periods of economic hardships.

    3. Certainly the original post was meant to convey the widely held sentiment that Democratic politics has caused a significant uptick in crime nationally. Finally even mayors of blue cities and governors of blue states are coming around on this and acknowledging the failures of defund the police as well as liberalization of enforcement of county and state laws.

    4. Could you provide us with a list of those communities who tried to pass or pass laws defunding the police?

  6. It doesn’t even explain what happened. Just assault. We don’t know the circumstances as to why the assault happened. It doesn’t justify it for sure. We are living in different times and people are on edge. Folks need to meditate and take a deep breath.

  8. So how does an assault have anything to do with Politics?

  9. When there is crime like this in our neighborhood, why does it immediately get politized? Isn't it more important that whichever authority in charge works with the police? It seems like the crime itself takes second place and it is an opportunity to push one's political views. When did we become like this? It makes be sick!
