Rockville auto dealership broken into


Rockville City police responded to a burglar alarm at an auto dealership early yesterday morning, October 18, 2022.  The burglary took place at a dealership in the 1400 block of Rockville Pike at 3:41 AM. Officers arriving at the scene found evidence of forced entry.

Rockville Memorial Library broken into


Rockville City police responded to a report of a burglary at the Rockville Memorial Library at 21 Maryland Avenue yesterday morning, October 5, 2022. The burglary was reported at 7:13 AM Wednesday. Officers responding to the call found evidence of forced entry at the library. Information regarding what might have been stolen from inside the library has not yet been released by police.

Rockville City police responded to a break-in at a convenience store early yesterday morning, September 18, 2022. The burglary took place at a store in the 1600 block of E. Gude Drive at 3:06 AM. Responding officers found evidence of forced entry at the scene.

Rockville City police responded to a report of a burglary inside an apartment building Thursday afternoon, September 15, 2022. The burglary was reported at an apartment in the 100 block of 1st Street at 1:10 PM. Upon arriving, officers found evidence of forced entry at the apartment.

Rockville City police responded to a report of a burglary at a home in the Rockcrest neighborhood early Friday morning, August 19, 2022. One or more suspects entered the home, and at least one person was the victim of a 2nd-degree assault during the incident. The burglary was reported at a home in the 1100 block of Highwood Road at 12:16 AM Friday.

One or more suspects broke into a home in Derwood early Sunday morning, August 14, 2022. Montgomery County police were called to the scene in the unit block of Beauvoir Court at 1:06 AM. Officers found evidence of forced entry at the home.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a break-in at a beer and wine store in Rockville early yesterday morning. A burglar alarm was triggered at a store in the 4000 block of Norbeck Road at 1:15 AM Wednesday. Officers found evidence of forced entry at the scene. Beer & Wine International is located on that block of Norbeck.

Rockville office burglarized


Rockville City police responded to a report of a burglary at an office in the King Farm community yesterday morning, July 30, 2022. The burglary was reported in the 800 block of Pleasant Drive at the King Farm Village Center. Officers found no evidence of forced entry at the scene. It is believed the office was broken into between 2:00 PM on Friday and 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Burglary and assault at Rockville home


Rockville City police responded to a report of a burglary in the Twinbrook area early yesterday morning. The burglary was reported at a home in the 5900 block of Halsey Road at 2:08 AM Monday. Officers did not find evidence of forced entry, meaning the intruder(s) entered through an unlocked door. At least one person reported they were the victim of a 2nd degree assault during the incident.

Rockville City police responded to a report of a burglary at a home construction site in the Lincoln Park area yesterday morning. The burglary was reported in the 300 block of Frederick Avenue. Officers found evidence of forced entry at the scene. It is believed the burglary occurred between 7:00 PM Saturday and 7:13 AM Sunday.

The burglary was reported at an apartment in the 400 block of Blandford Street near Richard Montgomery High School at 2:50 AM. Rockville City police were called to a home in the Woodley Gardens area of the city yesterday morning, after a burglary was reported there. Officers found evidence of forced entry at the home, which was in the 600 block of Crocus Drive, according to crime data. That is in the Rockville Estates subdivision, close to the Woodley Gardens Swim Club.

2 burglaries on same block of Rockville Pike in one hour


Rockville City police responded to a break-in at a construction site on Rockville Pike Tuesday night, April 26, 2022. The burglary was reported at a construction project in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike at 7:45 PM, according to crime data. Officers found evidence of forced entry at the scene.

About an hour later, officers responded to a second burglary on the same block. This break-in was at a nearby department store. One or more burglars forced their way into the business, causing property damage in the process.

Second Montgomery County government facility burglarized in Rockville area in two weeks


A second Montgomery County government building in the MD 355 corridor has been burglarized in as many weeks in the Rockville area. Rockville City police responded to a break-in at the County's Shady Grove Transfer Station and Recycling Center at 16101 Frederick Road in Derwood at 11:30 PM Wednesday night, according to crime data. Two weeks prior, burglars broke into a County government office building further down MD 355 at 401 Hungerford Drive.

An apartment in the King Farm community of Rockville was burglarized early yesterday morning. Rockville City police found no forced entry, and a suspect was also accused of disorderly conduct.
