Signage installed at Fogo de Chão in Rockville

The signs are up at the future Fogo de Chão Brazilian steakhouse at Pike & Rose. Work continues on the interior of the space at 11600 Old Georgetown Road, which was previously the Nike Factory Store and City Sports.
While the churrascaria fad hit the District and other major cities a number of years back, Fogo de Chão's arrival here caps off Pike & Rose's status as having arguably the best set of dining options at a single development in the county. Del Frisco's Grille, City Perch, Kusshi, Owen's Ordinary, Nada, JINYA Ramen Bar, Baked Bear, Summer House, Stella Barra, and a future Asian dining hall are just some of the top-rated options on-site.

  1. Alert and helpful readers on the Bethesda blog have noted that this signage was installed on March 26.

    1. 8:24: Not true, chump. I've been to Pike & Rose many times since March 26, and those signs weren't there. Just installed. I understand your frustration that I got the scoop. Those weren't "readers," they were just you, the paid troll for the MoCo cartel.

    2. I'll repost my deleted post. I posted the date of the permit issued by the MoCo DEP which was 02/21/19 and the sign was installed 03/28/19,BUT apparently the hall monitor here (Dyer) deleted this factual posting, since it went against his alternative facts.

    3. 10:04: False. These signs were not installed on March 28, and I was at Pike & Rose many times since then. These signs were just installed, and you just made a jackass out of yourself. Again.

    4. 10:04: I've just received a photo of the signs being installed at the end of April, not March 28 as you falsely claimed.

  2. You honestly think all negative posts are paid for? Interesting. I’d like to examine this issue so please let me know where you found this data. This is huge news and maybe it proves the cartel is out to get the only hyper local blog in all the world.

  3. I still don't understand why people troll this site and disparage it's author. And you still don't have the balls to post your names. Robert provides good information. Are you gas bags just haters? Why even come to this website if you dislike Robert so much? To me that's just being a douche bag who thinks they're better than everyone else. But that's no surprise. Stop being pussies and post your real name.
