    1. Silly rabbit, you can't have police everwhere at all times.

  2. I seriously doubt that hiring more police would reduce crime. Maybe having cameras installed along with signs alerting would-be thugs know they are being filmed would have a deterrent effect.

    1. The problem is some folks wanted to defend police but can you get them back to order just because you now realize all they can do is show precence not force and I guess the criminals have figured that out first that much havoc could have been controlled.

  4. I was there a few days ago and a man started
Beeping his horn at another driver. When I looked to see what was going on he started yelling at me,”what is your problem!?” Then he followed me to my car. It was unnerving. Every time I go there I am nervous.

  8. Crime rising in every corner of County, elected "Leaders" told to let the small stuff go, turn-style jumping in Metro, petty assaults - hard times these days for those committing petty crimes, cut them some slack and understanding.

  9. Penalties are so soft now with judges not going the distance that offenders don’t care. We’re set up to be victims. And, God forbid, we attempt to protect and defend what’s ours!!!!!!

    1. People will get sick of the crime just like they did in the 1980s.It was the minority communities who were asking the police to step up back then. Now it's both the minority and wealthy communities that are being targeted by criminals, I bet you will see a reaction soon in elections that are coming up.

  11. There is a correct perception for bad guys that cops don't have backing. Bad guys are emboldened. Whether it's by having fewer police, or because criminals feel the can get away with a lot more, the result is the same. Give it a few years, and when we get back to being "tough on crime", and these things will work themselves out. In the meantime, we all collectively created this mess.
