Montgomery County police responded to a report of a burglary at a hotel in Rockville this past Saturday morning, May 13, 2023. The burglary was reported at a hotel in the 2600 block of Research Boulevard at 11:48 AM Saturday. There is an Extended Stay America hotel on that block. Officers responding to the scene found evidence of forced entry at the hotel room.
You report on numerous road projects in other area, particularly in Bethesda, but none in Rockville. This past Friday I was in Rockville Town Center and discovered most of the area is under some form of road diet, road resurfacing, or sidewalk improvements, that caused massive traffic jams during the midway hours. I also discovered this in the West End section of town as I was heading to I270. Are you aware of what's going on? This seems like a lot of work at one time.

ReplyDeleteThe repaving I hear is an integral part of the road diet project to add bike lanes to the street network.
