Rockville City police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at a grocery store Wednesday afternoon, June 5, 2024. The assault was reported at the Safeway store at 403 Redland Boulevard at the King Farm Village Center at 3:30 PM. At least one individual was also accused of trespassing in the incident.
There have been several problems at this Safeway. More police presence is needed

DeleteIt's a shame when you have to have armed security guards in grocery stores and restaurants because the police are not allowed to do their job.There is an armed security guard in a military style bullet proof vest at Wendy's in Gaithersburg,doesn't make me want to frequent that Wendy's.

ReplyDeleteDon't blame the young, this is a problem of middle age adults as well. Many of these retail crimes are the actions of organized crime syndicates, using the revenue generated to fuel the drug market.

This is the woke liberal social justice agenda that has destroyed our police force and punishment for committing crimes. They can’t run a County, country or even a decent lemonade stand. They have packed mixed income housing into the area and you are seeing the results. You have to ask to buy Tide Pods there now; wait til it closes down and the other established businesses fail at KF.
