  1. This area is becoming crime ridden. I remember when this was a great neighborhood. My Aunt and her husband bought a house in Twinbrook in early 1950s and she lived there up until 10 years ago. It's so disappointing to see what's happening to these neighborhoods.

  2. Lol @ crime ridden and comparing it to the early 50s when the neighborhood consisted of zero retail and a couple blocks of low-income, 900 sqft houses. Ah the glory days.

  4. If you think crime is higher now than in the 80s or 90s then there isn't much helping you.

  5. The topic we're talking about here is Montgomery County, and yes, crime in the County is much higher now than it ever was in the 1980s or 1990s.

You're talking about crime on a national level. I'm talking about crime in Montgomery County.

  6. Great job not even knowing the most basic facts about MoCo. Crime rates were several times higher in decades past.

Police Chief Marcus Jones is quoted saying that in his 36 years on the force he has never seen the amount of gun crime now taking place in the County.

  8. I would think so since the Police Chief of Montgomery County said he's never seen crime so bad in the County in almost 40 years.
