White House Black Market closes Rockville store

White House Black Market, a solid-performing women's apparel boutique for many years, is the latest victim of the moribund Montgomery County economy. They have just closed their Congressional Plaza store in Rockville. Montgomery County has suffered a net loss of over 2100 retail jobs since 2000, according to the Maryland Retailers Association.

  1. Yep, it's odd that Dyer does not seem to be curious about what is happening on the north side of Congressional Plaza. Lebanese Taverna, Chico's. White House Black Market, Thomasville Furniture all gone. (The first two are relocating and/or reformatting in new locations there.) But that leaves a big gap there - what's going to happen? Will Dyer do one of his undercover investigations?

  2. Not good to have the name "White House BM" in the time of Trump. LOL
